**What is Meteor Garden on Netflix?**

Meteor Garden is a live-action high school rom-com based on the manga series Boys Over Flowers by Yoko Kamio, which ran from 1992 to 2003. The show follows Dong Shan Cai, the daughter of a working class family, as she's accepted to a super ritzy university and immediately clashes with the coolest quartet of boys in the school, the posse known as F4. But Shan Cai, determined to stand up for herself and be respected, doesn't back down even in the face of pressure from the cool kids. And of course this being a rom-com, you bet a star-crossed, begrudging romance begins to blossom between Shan Cai and one of the F4 guys.

**When do new episodes of Meteor Garden arrive on Netflix?**

Meteor Garden debuted on July 9 over in China, and it made its Netflix debut not long after that on July 13. The series drops multiple episodes a week overseas, meaning that the show's "weekly" release schedule as advertised on Netflix is actually way more frequent than that. 20 episodes have been added to Netflix in July alone! Judging by release dates, Netflix's Meteor Garden release schedule seems to be every Wednesday through Friday, which means the US release schedule is only a day or so behind China's. New episodes of Meteor Garden will be added multiple times a week through August, until all 48 episodes have been released.
