I brought a 140,000mile 2001 olds minivan with a v6 engine and a blown head gasket. For over $2,000 they replaced the head gaskets and told me it would be good for 100,000 miles. It was good for 20,000 miles. Later, I learned the engine is known for blowing head gaskets and was discontinued as a result.. I don't know if the information about the engine was known at the time of repair but it would have made a difference if I had been informed of the engines' history.

Let us start off by saying we are are sorry to hear you are having problem with your van's head gasket. It has been nearly 7 years since we have done this job, actual date was 7/29/2013. Without knowing what went wrong, we really can't blame it on a head gasket problem. Seeing from your review, you stated the vehicle has only gone 20,000 miles in the past 7 years. That is only 2,857 miles a year. The worst thing for a vehicle is to sit for long periods of time, unless it is a show car or some high price car that is kept in a climate-controlled environment.

As for being told you would be good for 100,000 miles, that must have been a misunderstanding, since our Nationwide Warranty at that time was 12 month 12,000 miles. It is now 24 month 24,000 miles. We are just trying to explain that we run an honest business. There would be no reason for anyone of our team members to tell you that you had that kind of warranty.

We would like to apologize for any misunderstanding. We had been in business 13 years, 12 years as a AAA Approved Repair Facility with an A+ rating with the BBB, when your vehicle was here at our facility for repairs.

Called in spoke with Ed Warren about purchasing new tires for my company Van. Ed advised me on which tires would be better for Van. Was told did not have in stock but would have a set sent right over. He called within hours to say they were there, come right on over and would have them changed out.
