How To Get Weather Animation On Lock Screen Android
- #1
And then next question.
I found something that puts the forecast on my lockscreen, but I was wondering if there's some way to put blithe weather on there?
I had this on my HTC Touch on Pro in 2009. I've had information technology on every iOS jailbreak since the Forecast tweak was introduced (and information technology's currently still working on my 6s+). I'd like to add it to my Pixel.
Here'southward the thing though. A casual Google search turns upwards plenty of apps that modify the wallpaper. I don't desire that. I desire animated weather over MY wallpaper.
That'south possible in iOS with a jailbreak because the weather condition tweaks pull the animation from the Weather app (it's transparent) and display it on summit of your wallpaper.
So far I'one thousand non seeing anything like that with Android.

I exercise not believe so. I think it'due south one of the limits of iOS. Helps for power direction, though.

S9'southward and S10'south stock atmospheric condition app can exist displayed on all screens AOD/Lock/Habitation not sure about 3rd party animated ones

How do you add the atmospheric condition widget to the AOD and lock screen on the S10? Would love to accept it there. Thanks.
Settings/Lock Screen/Confront Widgets and toggle on weather
Then double tap time on AOD to toggle weather

Thanks for the help, but I'yard running Android P on a Google Pixel 3a XL.
My Settings do non bear witness anything similar your path.
Lockscreen options (on my device) are located in Security & Location.
Which wouldn't be too much of an issue if what y'all describe actually existed as a setting inside there.
But it doesn't.

Did you check with an Android forum? I bet in that location are plenty of ways... Possibly there are awso apk files of the aforementioned stock widgets... Have yous tried some tertiary political party lounchers? iOS is actually express in customizations, non Android. About every ROM I can recall of has some manner to evidence atmospheric condition on lock screen... There should exist a way to practice it in vanilla Android on a Pixel telephone...

Pre-2012 I was pretty heavily into a few Android/Windows Mobile forums. I am anticipating a return at present, but as these forums accept been the place I've spent most of my time for the last seven years I thought I'd ask here first.
If there was (or is) an easier way then going downwardly the rabbit-hole I'd rather start there.
That said, I've switched my email app and my launcher this past calendar week as well as my messages app. I know that other brands (specially Samsung) accept more than in regards to customization but I chose the Pixel not only because of pure Android just to avoid any frustrations with manufacturer specific things. In one case my wife acclimates to Android any futurity purchases that are not Google can be adapted to ameliorate (versus the other mode).
Unfortunately it looks more than and more likely that I will be back paging through reams of XDA forum pages to get my device the style I want information technology. I like that Android has option, I'm just having to adapt to having choice again.
My 6s+ is withal jailbroken and while jailbreaks give you selection - yous're still modifying an Apple product. There'south and then much out there on the Google Play store it'south difficult to know what'southward good and what isn't.
